How to install Dropbox:-
There are many ways to install the software in the Linux operating system but I recommend the most frequently used two ways for Dropbox installation.
👉 Using the Ubuntu Software Center.
1. Search for the ubuntu software center in the application list and open it.
2. Inside the software, center search Dropbox, if more than one result come then choose the vendor you want to download from by goes through the review and rating.
To install gdebi open your terminal [Ctrl+Alt+T] and run the following commands

5. Install dropbox:-
Open your file contained folder and from there direct open the terminal by right click and choose the open in terminal option.
In terminal confirm your .deb file by typing "ls" command and press Enter.
To install the .deb file just type the following command in your terminal in that file contained directory.
Then press Enter after that it again ask for confirmation press "y" and hit Enter.
After the successful installation of dropbox, you can search the icon in your ubuntu dash and click to lunch.

3. Press the Install button and confirm your user password.
4. After the installation process complete you can open Dropbox Ubuntu by pressing the Lunch button over there or by search gimp in your applications list.
To Remove Dropbox:-
To remove dropbox again you have to go to the Ubuntu Software Center by following the same procedure and click the remove button there.
👉 Installing .deb file using Gdebi.
1. Open a web browser and search for "dropbox download" and click the first link. Direct link 👈
2. Next, choose the .deb file of 64/32 bit according to your OS.
3. You can choose open with software install option but in this section, I choose the gdebi installer so for that, we don't need the first option. Select to Save File option and press on ok.
4. Install the Gdebi installer:-
To install gdebi open your terminal [Ctrl+Alt+T] and run the following commands
sudo apt update
sudo apt install gdebi

5. Install dropbox:-

In terminal confirm your .deb file by typing "ls" command and press Enter.
To install the .deb file just type the following command in your terminal in that file contained directory.
sudo gdebi packagename.deb
Then press Enter after that it again ask for confirmation press "y" and hit Enter.
After the successful installation of dropbox, you can search the icon in your ubuntu dash and click to lunch.
Then you sign in to your Dropbox account to connect your pc and then you can see the dropbox folder in your Home directory.
And also you get a shortcut icon on top-right of your window.
